İLHAN SAYIN
İlhan Sayın studied sculpture at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Faculty in 1997. In his works, Sayın explores contemporary landscapes of nature and the city, while also addressing themes of destruction and transformation. He reflects on and interprets the impact of this destruction on the inner world and spiritual existence of human beings. The “new appearances, new stories” created by ever-transforming and constantly changing living spaces in nature form the foundation of his works. These stories are brought to life through drawing, reflecting emotions such as complexity, tension, and contradictions that we experience.
His solo exhibitions include “İncir Ağacı” (2022), Milli Reasürans Art Gallery, and “Seyir” (2016), Depo, Tophane. His duo exhibitions include “Darmadağın” (2024), Kıraathane Istanbul Literature House, and “Together” (2025), YapıKredi Culture and Arts.
