TANSU KÖSE

 

Tansu Köse (b. 1994, Istanbul) graduated from Avni Akyol Anatolian Fine Arts High School in 2012 and studied painting at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Working primarily in painting, she draws on everyday shifts in emotion and the spaces and relationships that remain in memory. In her recent work, ordinary objects carry traces of loss, absence, and belonging. Köse has participated in Mamut Art Project (2019), BASE (2020), and One, No One and One Hundred Thousand at Labirent Sanat, Istanbul (2021). Her first solo exhibition, The Shadow Remains, will be presented at KAIROS in October 2026. She lives and works in Istanbul.
