KAIROS is pleased to host İbrahim Özsözgün’s first solo exhibition, Monodram, from January 7 to 25, 2025.

İbrahim Özsözgün, with an artist's perspective that carefully determines his approach to individuals, events, and spaces, conveys all the emotions reflected in his paintings by reassessing reality. Every fragment of emotion to be transferred to the surface is based on a detailed observation process. First, images are formed in the artist's mind over time, and then they are clarified on the surface through precise technique.

Monodram is a dramatic narrative style centered around a single character. In this genre, the story is typically told by one person or a series of events and inner conflicts related to that person are staged. In a monodrama, the audience explores not only the external but also the internal world of the character. İbrahim Özsözgün’s first solo exhibition, Monodram, invites the viewer into the world of the exhibition's protagonists.

Born in Diyarbakır in 1994, İbrahim Özsözgün graduated from Ankara Anadolu Fine Arts High School, and in 2012, he was accepted into the Painting Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, where he graduated in 2017. He began his master's degree in the same department in 2018 and completed it in 2021. Özsözgün continues his work in Istanbul.
