When the Waters Recede
Only the memory of stones remains.

Apr 17 – June 8, 2026, Club Marvy

Can Incekara’s paintings resemble an atlas of memory composed through the most fragile state of water. Each brushstroke carries the fading traces of childhood, the silence of home, and the fleeting spark of light. The objects that appear in his works are neither entirely familiar nor wholly strange; they stand as thresholds between the ghost of the past and the breeze of the present.

This selection at Club Marvy invites the viewer into an inner search: toward forgotten voices, lost rooms, and the half-felt sense of home. Incekara’s watercolors blur the boundary between what is visible and what has been erased, drawing the spectator into this passage — much like a memory falling into water, expanding time in widening circles.
