ÜMMÜHAN YÖRÜK

 

Ümmühan Yörük graduated from Hacettepe University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department in 2012. After graduating from Gazi University Painting Department in 2017, she started the Proficiency in Art program in Hacettepe University Painting Department in the same year. She held four solo exhibitions, the first of which was at the METU Library Exhibition Hall in 2011 and the following two at the Piartworks Gallery in 2012 and 2015. Her last solo exhibition “Scenery Within” took place at Evliyagil Dolapdere in 2022. Since 2010, her works have been seen in group exhibitions such as "Shaken Image" at Pera Museum, "Middle East" at METU Culture and Congress Hall, and "Crystal Chateau" & “Haunted by Faces” at Evliyagil Museum. Two different works of her were included in the Reimage: Morning After Dark exhibition exposed at Kairos Gallery in 2022. In 2024, she participated in a duet exhibition with Can Akgümüş at Barınhan with Kairos Gallery titled "Silhouettes of Time: The Temporary Elegance of Vanishing Relics”.

 

She works as a lecturer at METU Music and Fine Arts Department.
