Gurur Birsin (b. 1992, Tekirdağ) graduated from the Painting Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2016 and completed his master’s degree in the same department in 2019. In 2021, he participated in the "Olympos Exhibitions / Landscape" and held his first solo exhibition, "The Wreck of Time", at Mixer Gallery. In 2022, his works were featured in Kairos Gallery’s exhibitions "Reimage: Morning After Dark" and "ARAF I / NOCTURNES". In 2023, he took part in "CI Bloom", "CI Art Fair", and "ArtWeeks" with Kairos Gallery; and in 2024, he once again participated in "Artshow" and "ArtWeeks". That same year, he opened his second solo exhibition, "The Backyard of Childhood", at Kairos Gallery. He also participated in "New Lands", an exhibition at Arkas Art Alaçatı that brought together nearly 150 artists, as well as Kairos Gallery’s exhibitions "The Century of Pera: Prologue: The Lost Time" and "3". In 2025, he was included in the group exhibition “Gözlerimi Kapadım, Her Şeyi Gördüm” in Şanlıurfa. The artist continues his practice at his studio in Istanbul.
